Do you have enough time for Kyoto? If you have, forget about this tour. But if you don’t have enough, for example just one day for Kyoto, then book this Kickstart tour.
It’s a 1.5 hours walking tour. We will walk around Gion and Higashiyama(East Mountain) area. There are many traditional street, unique shrine and temple. Of course I recommend you to take many days for Kyoto and join the full day tour. But you could feel the essence of Kyoto in this short Kickstart tour. So If you have many days schedule in Kyoto, beginning from this tour might be nice and it would make your stay in Kyoto brilliant.

This tour starts from Gion area walking. This area is a kind of ‘VIP Party area’. What is the VIP party? The party with Geiko and Maiko girls. They are entertainers of Japanese traditional music and dance. Maiko girl is a symbol of Kyoto. If you are lucky, you would meet a Maiko gial on this street.
More walking, you will visit to a unique shrine. What is this unique shape stone? This is the magic of this shrine.I’ll tell you what is it in my tour!

Few minutes walk more. You will be in a temple with colorful balls. What are they? There are many kinds of mystery in Kyoto. Of course I’ll tell you what are they. But anyway this place is so nice for your Instagram! Many travelers take their selfee here!

And you’ll come to the highlight of this Kickstart tour. There is a 5 stories pagoda. This pagoda has more than 1400 years history. All my guests said “Wow!” here. One day, one of my guest had a guidebook of Japan. The cover pic of the guidebook was this 5 stories pagoda. It means lonely planet thought this place, this pagoda is the best place in Japan. Not the best place in Kyoto but Japan!
